Indigenous Garden

Creation

From guidance on grant applications and planning, through to planting and establishment, we are here to create gardens for your community that are not only beautiful, but meaningful, sustainable and connected to Country.

Our Indigenous Garden Creation services include:

  • Grant application guidance — helping community organisations identify funding opportunities and develop their garden project for grant applications.

  • Consultation — working with you to understand your goals, the site, the community who will use it and the story you want the garden to tell.

  • Garden design — developing a thoughtful, site-responsive design using Indigenous plants, materials and principles.

  • Project coordination — coordinating the practical steps needed to bring the design together and working with the people involved in the project.

  • Planting day coordination — organising and supporting planting days, including bringing people together to learn, participate and connect with the garden.

  • 12 months of establishment and maintenance — providing ongoing care during the garden's first year, helping plants establish and giving you the knowledge and support needed to care for the garden into the future.
