Services

From designing Indigenous gardens to offering cultural workshops, all our services have one thing in common.

They all have connecting to Country and First Nations culture at their heart.

Our cultural programs are developed and delivered alongside mob and by Sarah, a Ngiyampaa woman from NSW who grew up on Wurundjeri country, drawing on her cultural knowledge, family connections and lived experience.

The design and creation of our Indigenous gardens are coordinated by Agus, who brings her horticultural knowledge and passion for native and Indigenous plants, along with a deep connection with the land and with Indigenous culture, herself being Indigenous to Argentina.

Choose from one of our services below or go with the full package! And feel free to contact us for more info.

We are proud to offer a series of workshops that create opportunities for people to learn, connect and share in knowledge of Country.

Each of our workshops offers a different way of learning, whether through plants, food, art, music or nature, allowing people to make something special while creating space to listen, explore and connect to Country.

We also love running school holiday activities. Some favourites include ochre painting and bush tucker cooking. Please get in early though as our school holidays book up quick!

Once you have a design, we can coordinate the construction of anything from small private gardens featuring Indigenous plants, to large community gardens with a yarning circle and nature play area.

We will look after all the project management, coordination of contractors and materials, and you will get:

  • A space designed specifically for your community and needs

  • The incorporation of a yarning circle

  • The opportunity to incorporate nature-based play areas

  • Indigenous plants that originated from your specific area

  • Hands-on opportunities to plant your own natives with a guarantee of at least one plant per person

  • Full coordination of the garden launch and planting day

  • Improve your community’s wellbeing by providing them with physical and mental health benefits.

Whether you want us to do the heavy lifting or you want to do it yourself, we can provide a design of your new Indigenous garden that will include everything from the plants we recommend and a full list of the materials to some of the thinking behind the design.

We can design large community gardens with a yarning circle, bush tucker gardens or private gardens and nature strips. Whichever category you fit into, our intention is to create a garden that feels connected, natural and welcoming.

A comprehensive design with sun and shade analysis, native plants list, landscape material list and care guide starts from $2000.

If you’re hosting a special event, we would love to bring some cultural learning to your community!

Choose from one of our cultural workshops, or we can cater a workshop specifically to suit your event.

Some of the event activities that we have run include a native seed activity at National Tree Day, weaving at NAIDOC Week, bush tucker cooking and bark painting at Reconciliation Week and bug abode creating and decorating at a local Council event.

We also love running school holiday programs! Get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to provide a quote.
